Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Article 15 trailer has created a stir amongst the audience with his hard-hitting content. Article 15 talks about discrimination on grounds of religion, race, caste, sex or place of birth. The actor had earlier even shared a video where Ayushmann highlights how the country stands united today, and how beautifully, Article 15 of the constitution applies to the country. Which proves, that we all are capable of doing away with all forms of discrimination and be united, and be ‘Indians’. However, the actor shared another video where he says to sign up a petition to stop this discrimination.

Ayushmann Khurrana took to his Twitter handle and asked everyone to sign the petition #DontSayBhangi. In the video, a kid comes to give tea to the on-duty police officer and states that chai is bhangi. Marking it on the same, Ayushmann then says how it's easy to say 'bhangi' when it actually defines someone's caste and gives birth to discrimination. While asking us to sign the petition, the Badhaai Ho actor wrote, "Galti toh kisi se bhi ho sakti hai, par hum kisiki tulna neechi jaati ke logo se kyun karte hai?  Kya inke khilaaf apka yeh nazaria theek hai? Isse aaj hi badaliye. Sign the petition #DontSayBhangi, now." while the sharing the link of the petition.

To which the director Anubhav Sinha also supported the cause and wrote, "Do you, without realizing, ever, use the name of a caste as a demeaning expression? Think about it... Stop it. For yourself and others!!! NOW!!! #ARTICLE15 #DontSayBhangi"

Talking about the movie, Article 15 that talks about discrimination on grounds of religion, race, caste, sex or place of birth. The trailer of the film has garnered a lot of appreciation from the audience for its powerful and gut-wrenching content. The film talks about heinous crimes such as honor killing, dowry, a murder which are common in rural India. 

Article 15 also stars M Nassar, Manoj Pahwa, Sayani Gupta, Kumud Mishra and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub. It has been Directed by Anubhav Sinha, Produced by Anubhav Sinha and Zee Studios and is slated to release on June 28, 2019.
